Not just all about kicks and punches!

Taekwondo sparring are not only about kicks and punches. As your children face different opponents in the ring, they also learn how to read their opponents' body languages, and also initiate precise attacks and defenses. They will understand that sparring is not all about beating other or win/lose situation, but also applied what they have learned in regular classes during a combat situation.


In addition, sparring is a high-intensity training session that challenges their cardiovascular endurance. Children can build stamina, improve agility and reflexes, and improve their overall body conditioning through the sparring sessions.


Sparring provides a huge benefit to self-confidence. Facing an opponent is sure intimidating, but children will learn to face their fear to build up their confidence to overcome any challenges. Whether it is their first time sparring or experienced, they will leave their sparring sessions feeling stronger, better self-esteem with greater resilience.


Safety first. Our instructor has years of experiences in monitoring sparring. We will be sure to let your child exercise in a safe environment and immediately intervene with overly aggressive/ dangerous behaviors. Plus, protective equipment including chest guards, headgears, and shin guards are mandatory for each sparring sessions. Those can be ordered by contacting our instructor.
