About Master Danny:

Master Danny was born and raised in Vietnam. As a child, he has already had a strong passion for martial arts and has always dreaming of becoming a professional martial artist. He began and practice Taekwondo at the young age of ten.

In 1979, Master Danny immigrated to the United States. He pursued postsecondary education at the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1994. Furthermore, he also attended University of Texas at Dallas and obtained a Bachelor's in Computer Science in 1998. Throughout his college years, Master Danny shared his passion for Taekwondo by serving as an assistant instructor across multiple college campuses and even founded a Taekwondo club at UT Arlington.

In 2013, Master Danny established Golden Tiger Taekwondo dojang. The dojang was first founded in a humble garage with a handful of students. As time goes on, the dojang has grown, become even more successful and gained numerous students, which was a perfect opportunity for Master Danny to further expand the dojang. Beyond the primary mission of spreading his passion about martial arts to his students, Master Danny treats each student as a family member, as he believes that a strong mentor-student relationship is an important factor to keep people motivated about doing martial arts.

Outside of the mats, Master Danny likes to exercise and spend time with his family, comprising his wife and three children. He also has a german shepherd name Charlie.
